Student Conduct Policy
By registering for the job fair, you are agreeing to the following student conduct policy
Candidate Selection Process
To promote opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds, NPLA uses a hybrid candidate selection system that includes both employer-selected and lottery-selected candidates. The specific ratio will be determined by NPLA based on the number of participating employers and students. Participating students agree to this selection policy and acknowledge that participation in the job fair does not guarantee an interview or a job offer.
Interviewing Policy
Participating students agree to participate in all interviews in a respectful and professional manner. If an interview must be canceled, students are expected to provide timely notice to employers.
Compliance
Failure to comply with these policies may result in future prohibition from participation in NPLA job fairs and other NPLA-sponsored initiatives and programming.
Communication with Employers
Participating students agree to be respectful and professional in all communications with employers. Students shall refrain from unsolicited outreach to recruiters, including phone calls, text messages, and emails requesting interviews or attempting to discuss their candidacy with interviewers.
Generative Artificial Intelligence Policy
NPLA strictly prohibits the use of generative artificial intelligence in application materials. Participating students agree to adhere to this policy and shall cooperate fully with any follow-up inquiries from employers seeking to verify the originality of submitted work.
Student Administration and Communication Policy
The NPLA job fair is organized and administered by volunteers who are full-time law students. Participating students acknowledge this and agree to communicate in a respectful and professional manner. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from unsolicited phone calls and text messages, as well as repeated follow-up messages within a short period of time. Any necessary calls should be scheduled in advance at a mutually agreed-upon time. Students further agree to exercise due diligence in addressing questions or issues on their end and to utilize FloRecruit’s chat support features as the primary means of resolving logistical matters.
