NPLA Announces Jan Rotich and Adam Yaggy as 2026-2027 Co-Presidents

NPLA is thrilled to share that Jan Rotich and Adam Yaggy will serve as co-presidents of NPLA for the 2026-2027 academic year. Please join us in congratulating Jan and Adam!

Jan Rotich is a rising 3L at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from Dallas, TX. She is a President-Emeritus of the Penn Plaintiffs' Law Association (PPLA). During her 2L year as Director of Firm Relations for NPLA and President of PPLA, Jan raised more than $80,000 for student programming and professional development through both organizations, built new firm partnerships across the country, and played a key role in expanding pathways for law students to enter the plaintiffs’ bar. Prior to law school, Jan earned her Master's of Public Administration and undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Africana Studies from the University of Cincinnati. In her free time, Jan enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and exploring cities.

Adam Yaggy is a 3L at Duke Law School from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He founded and leads the Duke Plaintiffs’ Law Association, which grew to over 60 members in its first few months. At Duke, Adam is a member of the Mock Trial Board and the Moot Court Board, where he was the 2025 Hardt Cup Runner-up and a 2026 Dean’s Cup Semifinalist. He also serves as a Lead Editor for the Alaska Law Review and was named a J. Porter Durham Scholar. Before law school, Adam graduated from Indiana University as a Kelley Scholar. In college, he earned his Private Pilot License and worked at Boeing and Cirrus Aircraft. Outside of law school, Adam spends (too much) time playing tennis.
