NPLA Announces Madeline Love and Divya Goel as 2025-2026 Co-Presidents

The NPLA is pleased to announce that Madeline Love and Divya Goel will serve as NPLA Co-Presidents for 2025-2026! We are so excited for the future of the NPLA under their leadership.

Madeline Love is a rising 3L at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She served as Executive Development Director on the 2024-2025 NPLA Board. For the past two years, Maddie also served on the board of the Texas Law Plaintiffs' Advocacy & Litigation Society (PALS), first as a 1L Representative and then as Co-President in her 2L year. As Co-President of PALS this past school year, Maddie helped grow PALS membership to over 80 dues-paying student members and raised over $20,000 in financial sponsorships (including many long-term grants slated to continue for the next ten years). Under her leadership, PALS hosted numerous events, which regularly had over 30 students in attendance, with some events drawing more than 60 students!

Divya Goel is a rising 3L at Georgetown University Law Center. This year, she helped found and served as the Co-President of the Georgetown Plaintiffs' Law Association (GPLA), which quickly became one of the fastest-growing law school chapters in the country. Under Divya's leadership, the GPLA hosted a plaintiffs’ job fair in its very first year, featuring 13 plaintiffs' firms and drawing the attendance of over 130 students! In just one year, she was able to grow the GPLA from its ten founding students to an organization with over 170 members.

In the coming weeks, Maddie and Divya will build the rest of the 2025-2026 board, with help and input from the current board. Then, over the summer, the two boards will work together to plan for the upcoming year and facilitate a smooth transition to the NPLA's newest leadership!

We are so excited to see all the things that Maddie and Divya accomplish as Co-Presidents of the NPLA!
